Built on a rocky, lakeside peninsula in a bucolic, woodland setting, the residence was originally designed by Architect Ken Miller in 1971 as the weekend retreat of actors Jessica Tandy and Hume Cronyn. The home had been renovated numerous times and had subsequently fallen into disrepair. The new Owners of the property hired us to design a modern residence where the 1970s contemporary home existed. We envisioned bright spaces opening the house to connect to the natural environment to realize our client’s dream.
